Our Story
In 2016, Michael and I met the only way we Millennials know how, "swiping right" on a dating app. We instantly connected and found we could talk for hours about anything and everything. I fell in love with Michael's smile, kind eyes and genuine personality and Michael fell in love with my... well, everything (ha ha). In all seriousness, Michael fell for my "beautiful eyes and bold, outgoing and kind personality" (his words, not mine!). Over the years, we've been blessed to share countless memories together from birthdays and holidays to road trips and vacations. Despite our family and friends being eager for Michael to pop the question, we took our time to build the foundation of a beautiful life together.
Fast forward to March 2022, when Michael and I bought our first home in Trophy Club, TX. Two months later, my parents were in town visiting our new home for the first time. On May 23, 2022 Michael and I, along with our parents, went out to dinner. Afterwards, Michael proposed in the backyard of our first home surrounded by our parents, Michael's grandparents, and of course our beloved dog Roux.
In 2023, Michael and I will celebrate SEVEN years together and are certain this will be our luckiest year yet when we trade in for a new anniversary on December 2, 2023.
Fast forward to March 2022, when Michael and I bought our first home in Trophy Club, TX. Two months later, my parents were in town visiting our new home for the first time.
